Week #6 The Maroon Monkeys vs. Fancy Footwork

The Maroon Monkeys played their best game to date. The game was very close up to the end, it was tied 2-2 going into half time. The Fancy Footwork scored 2 goals in the 2nd half but the game was very close and exciting. Jae played well, she didn't score but she still had one assist and the she was right around the 2nd goal. Jae also played very well defensively. The team is playing together as a cohesive unit and we are hopeful they will get a win soon but The Maroon Monkeys are having fun and that's what's important.

 

Week #5 Strikers vs. The Maroon Monkeys

The Maroon Monkeys had a tough time against the Strikers losing 6-2.

Week #4 Chix with Kix vs. The Maroon Monkeys

The Maroon Monkeys showed improved teamwork this week but lost 3-1 to the Chix with Kix. The score is deceiving, the game was closer than the final results.

Week #3 The Maroon Monkeys vs. Lucky Charms

Although the Maroon Monkeys lost another game, they put forth a great effort. Jae scored the only goal for her team.

Week #2 - Soccer Bandits vs. The Maroon Monkeys

Week 2 was a very tough game for the Maroon Monkeys. The Monkeys were up 1-0 at halftime, but the Soccer Bandits stole a few goals and the final score was 6-1.

Week #1 The Maroon Monkeys vs. Terminators

Jae played in her first soccer game today and scored her first goal. Although the Maroon Monkeys lost a very close game (5-3), the rest of the season looks promising.
